We live in a pretty incredible time in a lot of ways. More is possible than ever before with less resources.

Cal Newport wrote an interesting piece that I think speaks to how things are changing: The Rise of the Internet’s Creative Middle Class (https://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/the-rise-of-the-internets-creative-middle-class)

The reason why I am passionate about bootstrapping is that there are fewer chances of one individual being corrupted by all the money. Most of the WBE members I know just want to help people and make enough money to sustain a healthy lifestyle.

The Creator Economy and NFTs are massive human potential unlocks. Even if certain assets are in a short-term bubble, we are on an inexorable march towards individuals mattering more than institutions.

We're seeing this play out everywhere, the only exception may be Satoshi Nakamoto who arguably isn't as important as the product he created. But everywhere we look we see individual people who are more powerful than the institutions they're up against. Trump's a clear example, as he was 1 guy who basically found usurped the government despite it's consistent attempts to prevent him from doing so.

Or JPowell. He's one person, but he's become the face of the fed and his power seems to overshadow that of the institution he represents.
