Talked to a founder recently who couldn't figure out why they were invisible. Good product, doing content, all the usual stuff.
Searched alternatives pages for their competitors and they weren't there! Granted, they had just launched but still. Some random review site was. Their competitor's own blog was. They weren't.
That's the highest-intent search in SaaS. Someone's actively looking to switch and you're not even in the conversation.
Comparison pages are the content everyone means to write but never does. Takes too long to research, feels tedious, always gets bumped for something else.
But it's the easiest way to show up when someone's ready to buy.
I built ContentBoost because I kept seeing this pattern. Startups leaving money on the table because "[competitor] vs us" felt like too much work.
SEO is a long game, but you know what, so are startups. Better invest now for the long term!
You hit the nail on the head! 🎯 "Alternatives to X" and comparison pages are the highest-intent searches in SaaS, and it's crazy how often founders miss them.
Ignoring that step because it's "tedious" is essentially leaving ready-to-buy customers on the table.
