The SEO playbook I'm using to get traffic that actually pays the bills.

Hey IH,

For the longest time, my approach to SEO was basically:

~Find some keywords with Ahrefs.
~Write a blog post.
~Hope for the best.

The result? A lot of "meh" traffic that never converted and a ton of time wasted. It wasn't until I started treating SEO like a product with a proper tech stack that things started to click.

I've since broken my whole process down into a 4-phase playbook that I run for my own projects and for clients. It's helped me stop guessing and start building a predictable growth engine.

Phase 1: The "Is this thing on?" Check (Technical Audit)
This is just fixing the embarrassing stuff. Using GSC to find all my broken links (404s) and redirecting them. Making sure my site isn't throwing server errors. You'd be surprised how many sites fail at this.

Phase 2: Speaking Robot (Schema Markup)
This was a game-changer. I learned to add a bit of code (Schema) to my pages to explicitly tell Google what my content is about. My articles started getting those little FAQ dropdowns in the search results. Instant CTR boost.

Phase 3: Making Friends (Authority Building)
My approach to backlinks is now about building real relationships and doing guest posts on sites where I actually want to be seen, not just for the "link juice."

Phase 4: Getting Paid (Traffic that Converts)
The biggest shift. I stopped caring about traffic volume and started obsessing over traffic quality. I use Analytics to see which articles actually lead to sign-ups and double down on those topics.

I wrote down the entire playbook with all the details. It's the system I wish I had when I was starting out. Hope it's useful for other founders trying to crack the SEO code.
