One thing we've noticed while building publishing tools is that small details are easy to overlook.

Things like URL slugs don't usually get much attention, yet they're part of every article that's published.

A descriptive slug makes links cleaner, more readable, and easier to share.

It's not a silver bullet for SEO, but it's one of those small improvements that contribute to a better publishing workflow.
