Charanjit Singh, an indie hacker from India, had a recurring frustration: building tech projects meant wasting hours on setup—auth, payments, boilerplat - —before coding the real product. As a part-time solo founder, that time sink was crushing.

Determined to solve it, he created Indie Kit - a Next.js 15 boilerplate designed to help indie hackers and SaaS founders launch faster. Indie Kit handles social logins, Stripe and Lemon Squeezy payments, B2B multi-tenancy, background jobs, and sleek UI out of the box. It also includes advanced AI features and a vibrant Discord community where 127+ developers share insights.

Launched in January 2025, Indie Kit reached 100+ signups in just three months. Charanjit marketed it entirely via Reddit, finding a community of like-minded founders. While paid ads proved tricky, Indie Kit still generated $6,000 revenue by May 2025.

Priced between $79 and $169, Indie Kit now competes with premium alternatives like ShipFast. Charanjit also offers personal mentorship to help founders get started.

Looking ahead, he’s focused on improving ad tracking and adding new features driven by community feedback—making Indie Kit an ever-evolving launchpad for indie success.
