I built ScribeForge because I was tired of paying monthly subscriptions for transcription tools and uploading sensitive files to the cloud. As a creator, I wanted software that I could actually own—one purchase, unlimited usage, and complete privacy.
ScribeForge exists to give creators, businesses, journalists, students, and researchers a better alternative. It runs entirely on your own computer, so your files stay private while you get unlimited AI transcription, summaries, and analysis without recurring fees.
My goal is simple: make professional AI transcription accessible to everyone without locking users into expensive subscriptions. I believe software should empower people—not rent itself to them every month.
The privacy angle is compelling, but I'd keep testing what people are actually switching away from. Some will care most about ownership, others about keeping sensitive files local. Knowing which reason drives the purchase can make the positioning much stronger.
