I built Dew because I was tired of being treated like a product by my own phone.
I wanted a simple way to track my water intake, but every app I downloaded felt like a trap. They all wanted the same things: my email address, my location, and 30 seconds of my time to watch an ad before I could even log a glass of water.
I realized we’ve reached a point where even drinking water has become "monetized" and complex.
I decided to build the opposite. Dew exists for three reasons:
Zero Noise: No social feeds, no "streaks" to stress you out, and no aggressive notifications. It’s a tool, not a game.
Privacy by Default: I made it offline-first. Your hydration data shouldn't be sitting on a server somewhere. It stays on your phone, where it belongs.
Speed: You should be able to log your water in 2 seconds and get back to your life.
It turns out, I’m not the only one looking for this. Since launching, I’ve seen a 22% conversion rate on the Play Store. It proves that people don't want more features—they want more respect.
Dew is just a quiet, reliable tool that does one thing and does it perfectly.
