The tip that will change your business growth

I see many times people trying to bring as many people as possible on their just-launched SaaS and then try to convert them.

Everything sounds fine, right?

If only it wasn't what your just launched service doesn't need that.

First, you don't need a lot of people at the beginning, you just need to have few people really in target with it.

In the beginning, the quickest way to grow is understanding your target, use those people to learn as much as possible their real needs and pivot your actual product or even just how you market it/ how you offer it.

Ok but these things are obvious, aren't them?

Yes, they are.

In fact, you should keep in contact with those subscribers(or paying customers) even if they aren't paying.

When you have just started you have the advantage to be able to email those people directly, without any automation, resulting in:

The best feedback for you.
The best experience for them
A way of getting people that become your true fan

You need to engage with them continuously and focus the chat on their experience, tell them interesting tips and talk with them in the most natural way, while keeping in mind that they are the clients(don't just talk with them about things you should improve)

In the future automatize the chat and us what you have learned by talking with them.

Yes but how to actually get more people in my business?

2 things:

1.The journey they go through the website to sign in should be optimized, if you see the visitors came and a big % leaves at one point, try to understand why they leave there.

  1. Quality of the user experience: if they don't find the service valuable, they will leave, so make them feel great about it.

This was a bit obvious, but if you optimize every step, resulting in less friction as possible, make them feel motivated( with a good landing page or an email series or a call), and, once in your business, really willing to use that(gamification and true user needs/wants understanding) they won't leave, and they will be so excited that the referral engine(compound interest) will make your business fly

These are few of the basic things I always say to startups founders and use while developing a real marketing strategy that works, grows and let us learn what to do in order to pivot and have better %(because, at the end, it is all about percentages)

If you want to clarify something or simply want to understand how your startup could be improved just send an email at andreascorrano21@gmail.com.

I hope this is in some way helpful!

Well how do you email those first clients? Both where to get their email from and also what kind of questions to ask in the email.
Also you mention the referral engine, how do do that for SAAS businesses?

If you have got an opt-in or coming soon list or newsletter subscription option. This is usually how you start the game. @Polomalolo

I started collecting emails even my little passion project is still an idea without a product.

During your validation stage, it's super important to understand whether your product or service is solving a problem. If not, why? You should also address your customer why he/she decided to use your product but not others.

Regarding referral engine, you can have a look at ReferralCandy, Vyper, Viral Loops etc
