The Tools I Use To Create for B2B

Wanted to share with you a few tools I've been using lately and have enjoyed. To be exact: I enjoy the experience of using them.

None of them are Zoom. All have helped me make my new project: Better Sheets. A library of video tutorials to make you better at Google Sheets.

• Loom to Create Videos
• Descript to Edit Videos
• Carrd to Create Landing Pages
• Pigeon to Create Interviews

All these tools have also un-synced my time.
Zoom calls all day? It's draining. Each time I use these tools, I do it on my time. I can edit. I can think. I can yell at myself and also get more coffee.

These tools aren't only about gaining back time in my day. They make my business better.

Loom

This is the best screencast app I've ever used. Without Loom, I'd be processing large quicktime files. Waiting to upload to youtube or google drive. At the time I post this, Loom handles video recording, and video hosting.

I've used loom now way more than zoom.
It lets me communicate the way I want to. by sharing my screen and my voice.
It makes my business better.

Descript

This is the newest tool I'm fascinated with. It knows I made a loom video. I can, in one click, upload that loom video to descript. Then edit out all the ums. I can clip it out and make short teasers, or shorter versions of the tips I share.

The most fun I'm having with Descript is exporting audiograms. A visual representation of my voice.

Carrd

I've built more than 20 landing pages. Tried out ideas. Started to make new businesses and failed at even getting a landing page complete.

Carrd let's me wander. It's let me wonder. It's let me understand my own thinking and get over my constant want to do more.

It's the perfect realization of do less, better.

Pigeon

It's the CRM I've always wanted. I used to love streak and still have a place for it in my heart. Pigeon completes me.

I can interview, using google docs. I can send many ppl custom emails and custom followups.

One of the absolute best features is one that I was looking for in many other CRMs. I can send a mail merge in batches. Instead of having to send say 20 interview requests all at once with other mail merges. I can schedule 1 a day or 1 every hour. So I can reply and respond appropriately.
