The totalitarians of the attention economy

I'm so tired of all these companies trying to manipulate us. That's why I'm proud to try things on my own: I'm a human being, I always speak to people who buy my stuff like human beings, I learn from them, I make connections, and I'm happier.

I don't understand the eternal growth these massive companies try to do. To me, if I can sustain myself and do what I love, it's enough. I don't need to manipulate the whole world for that.

People talking about this for several years but the situation only getting worse. I don't think there will be a single solution or regulation to this until people accept the existence of problem.
