Second time doing startup founders here, trying to share some of my experience building this time around
I started with create-t3-stack with some modification

My priority of selecting tools are in this order:

Speed and momentum: how much experience do I have, how easy it is to configure from scratch, hire new people If the team able to expand
Flexible pricing: mostly pay for what I use and not rent an actual the server
How active is the community for me to search for support. How long have they been around for stability and better answer from chatGPT (hehe)

Development Infrastructure

Github copilot: code suggestion
Sentry: for log and debug
Sonarqube: for code quality
Posthog: user activity collectio

Product Infrastucture

NextJS (Vercel)
Shadcn(Tailwindcss)
Planetscale database
Prisma
Clerk
Upstash: Redis serverless for building scheduler
