The truth hurts 😔

Brayden 👋 @BraydenTW

A few months ago I asked myself this question for my website buildfaster.co.

I wanted to update it simply because I heard many people telling it looked ugly, the color palette was off, and it wasn't very user-friendly. 😬

Yep it hurt.

Lebron fail

But I wasn’t just going to keep BuildFaster the way it was. I was going to fix it.

So I took the time to gather more feedback and make improvements on the landing page. It took over a month to complete the new landing page. Looking back on it, I wish I had a faster solution.

So how can I get a “fresh look“, faster? 🤔

Do you feel the same way right now? If you do, then your problems have now been solved. 😲

I've been working on a few simple website themes for startups for the past week.

Here's a sneak peak of some of them:

Sneak peak ;)

What do you think? Could you use a boost right now?

I'm open to any feedback and if you want early access, feel free to reach out to me.

Have a great rest of your day. 👋

      I'm a huge NBA fan so I couldn't resist 😂

    Looks good.
    Here's my feedback:

    • it's gonna be pretty hard to sell a theme of a few pages for 40$ while there are a bazillion bigger better themes for the same price or less. If you're providing some value other themes do not then I didn't get it from your website.
    • people buy themes written with tools they are familiar with so they can modify the theme without learning new stuff : I couldn't find what tools your themes are built with.
      Good luck.

Totally understand your view. I'll work on the pages/price changes this week.

      Thank you :)

My problem has been solved by TailwindUI, but I'll keep it in mind for another project that might be coming up. Page looks really good!

As a designer it's hard to choose between custom and template. If I'm honest, there's little value of going custom given the time saved by a template. 99% of customers won't notice it's a generic template if you use anything but the 2005 base Bootstrap theme.

But I'm wired to think the content, branding and marketing as visuals, so I'm often starting custom designs and spending a lot of time into them. Right now, I'm exploring a middle ground with webflow or tailwind. I've not landed on a definitive answer yet.

Makes sense. That's why I try my best to deliver quality themes every time :)

Might have to try one soon ;)

    Fortune favours the bold!
I'm also beginning my www.getflookup overhaul.
I do not know if it will have a positive impact but this has been a thorn in my side for a while... time to act!

Awesome! Wish you best of luck :)

That's a clean looking site! I really like it. Is this 100% custom or have you used some kind of template as a starting point? 😉

I mainly sell premade themes. I also take requests for themes and every once in a while make custom ones. If you need a custom one, let me know :)

You have made some real big improvements since your first landing page! The site looks great now. I will mention you wherever I can. Keep it up! 💪 I would appreciate your opinion here.
