😠 Haters

Advising is a better business model than building an agency. Higher margins and lower mental overhead.”
You’re right. Margins are higher and client management is easier when you’re an advisor.

“Agencies are hard to scale.”
While agencies scale by hiring, you can build scalable products to offset this. Find a problem you can solve at scale with SaaS or a digital product.

“Managing an agency is hard. Managing a remote one is harder.”
Build processes and master communication. Unreliable communication amplifies the risks of async work.

I'm starting a B2B Offshore VA agency for marketing roles, with candidates from my country, South Africa, and the Philippines for some roles. There are lots of people with English as their first language here in SA, top graphic design and marketing colleges, etc.

I am focusing on B2B marketing only as my existing project is a B2B marketing gallery, and so this is micro-targeted to help accelerate their growth.

Nice set of links but nothing that chatgpt couldn't spit out. What exactly is the "pro" membership for?

Thanks for this huge list of resources and companies! It's nice to see a high-level overview of the agency landscape, especially because I'm building a client management platform for agencies and freelancers. It's called Bloombeaver if you'd want to take a look.
