Hey Indie Hackers!
I am an 18 year old Ukrainian refugee that has been juggling between warehouse jobs and hard labor my whole life.
But I like graphic design and build things my way.
And so couple of weeks ago I've sent a resignation email to my boss, quitting my laundry job and giving notice to my apartment's landlord and taking the decision to move to Oslo to pursue new opportunities and network, without any plan nor strategy, if nothing works - I go homeless, if something does work - I've taken the risk for the better. In any scenario I won't regret my decision.
For me as a graphic designer it takes time to create a piece/ad, and not everyone has the budget and/or time to hire a person like me. That's where the idea of Snappy came from. If there's a Shopify store owner, DTC seller, or simply a reseller that is looking for great AD creatives that could be ready to post on Facebook/Google/TikTok Shop, and that person doesn't want to pay ridiculous fees to an agency - here I come in with Snappy.
A person uploads the photo of the product, Snappy scans the image, describes it, looks for winning hooks in the niche of the product, and generates 3 ready creatives that can be posted straight away. The only thing the person needs to do is to choose the style of the AD, everything else is being made by Snappy.
My whole reason for posting here is - Accountability, I want to put even more pressure on myself, so I wouldn't even have the thought of getting lazy. And also feedback, if you guys could just go to the website - snappyads.app and tell me your honest opinion - I'd be very grateful. There's a free tier to check it out, so feel free!
Peace!
You should check StartupSubmit for visibility, backlinks, and early traffic.
Thanks! Will do
well well well look at this project right now look at this... absolute cinema right here... massive respect for the move to Oslo Illia, burning the ships to go all-in takes crazy guts.
The tech is smart as hell, but right now your headline "Product photo in. Three ads out. Sixty seconds." is trapped in a classic feature-checklist loop. It sells your software's mechanics instead of weaponizing your actual treasure. No disrespect Illia, but DTC sellers don't wake up looking for sixty-second ad generators. They wake up tired of getting absolutely gouged by ridiculous agency retainers. Your hero narrative is leaking conversion potential because you're positioning around the machine instead of the zero-agency-fee alternative.
You know what... come over here for a sec lower your voice so no one can hear us. I couldn't find a DM button here or an email anywhere on your site, but I have a secret wireframe layout doc mapping out exactly how to structure a SaaS hero section for this exact hook. I want you to dominate the market, Illia. If you want it to fix the page yourself, hit one of my social media links on my Indie Hackers profile here either X or Linkedin, waiting for your message.
Appreciate it for the feedback man! I'll DM you
Awesome, Illia! Just made it easier for you my DMs are open on X at https://x.com/theelaidey or you can drop me a line directly on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/theelaidey/. Stoked to hand over the layout doc!
