[Our Story So Far This Week]
Since doing a soft launch last Friday, I had an immediate issue. I had some traffic on the site but couldn't continue to work on it, because it's a React site and every time I save something the whole client rebuilds and refreshes, potentially breaking a live user experience. So I had to stop and create a dev setup/server and do all the nginx/SSL/Load balancing, port forwarding and local setup so I could continue working without interrupting the live experience.
I've stayed active in the channels and done some very slight promoting and discussing. The local school board met and voted/released the plans for the coming school year, and as expected the number of people deciding to home-school this year is SPIKING. So I've been trying to get into those conversations as well as peripheral conversations as moms all around are asking about homeschooling.
That served to remind me about the other undone phases of Lift Academy which are meant to solve problems in home-schooling.
So I took some time and experimented with a few different group video chat platforms to see what was out there, how hard it would be for me to extend, and what the costs were. I needed this information to scope out the beginnings of Phase 2 as I begin to think about bringing people on to help and pursuing funding.
Finally, I got back to working on Assessment Test banks. I said I'd do the 4th grade test next, so I brought in the Common Core Standards for Math and ELA (Reading/Writing) and worked on a question creation form vs editing directly in the database.
[What's Next]
Today and Tomorrow I hope to get through all the remaining questions for the 4th grade Assessment and release that. I also need to make some small changes to the information capture form at the end of the tests as I've thought of a way to smooth the user flow out a bit.

It's hard getting on people's calendars. Use DMs (Linkedin, FB), voicemail, or whatever platforms you see them using. Try to hit them up with your 1 question and one-line goal, not pitch (center around them).

Good luck! I'm looking at videos too. I'm identifying which actions need content, video, or audio capabilities to be effective. End of the day, nothing is free esp w/ SaaS.
I have NO problem spending a couple bucks. Time is precious, people who've put theirs into something useful to me definitely earn it!
Hey! I see you in here! Had a helluva three day week after the return from vacation. (Smiling) Day gig had a go at me!
I know I owe you a UX critique. I'll bring my ass in here over the weekend to make it happen.
(Great progress!)
No worries, I'll take it when I can get it! Marching on either way
