OK! Remembering to do one of these this week. Accountability thread takes the place of a daily group thread. Which is good because SO MUCH happened since Janice posted the main weekly thread this weekend.

We definitely have a live wire week this week. Several of us are in foundational stages of a new project, where we shine and where a lot of emotion springs forth. It's exciting to watch!
Shoutout to the group who's been providing precious feedback on people's issues and requests for input.

Here are the things I said I'd be doing this week, and their status:
Finish the on-boarding system[Complete]UGH! So I'm missing my stated goals. Here's what happened...
I have RELEASE ANXIETY big time!
I am apprehensive about scheduling the first swarm yet or a live show until I really had the friend request system buckled down. That came a long way, but then I realized that without a bunch of users (chicken/egg), there wasn't much for users to do in the platform yet aside for.. wait.
So I decided to create some things to do. First off, I thought I could create some content, but then I'd need a way to display it. (And more and more every day I realize I'm making a mini-Facebook for kids)
So I did these:
I now have a decent-looking app home with some content, and I can quickly add some more. I want to do video/image support ASAP for post content.

Now I feel a LOT better. Next up on the list is going to be making the friend request list look nicer. Without profile pics and such, it's hard to really be excited about someone's profile and think.. I want to be their friend!

There's always going to be something and after a release you can relax a bit and look at what is really important to look into next.

In the effort to not be an echo chamber as @jpusateri so aptly called out, I'm having a tough time following your efforts. In what succinct sentence (or elevator pitch), what's your product?
Lift Academy has gone from assessment testing to Facebook group and I'm no longer certain what pain point you're solving.
Haha that’s my roller coaster. The testing is a twice a year thing really, and the next phase would be mid-year so I’ll pick it back up then. I’ll try to get a pitch here...
At an Academy, you take classes, make new friends, attend special events, learn things about life, have fun. There are lots of kids only doing the classes part now, which is new for them. If a strange dude is walking around, he gets kicked out. He doesn’t belong. Actually it’s kind of understood that no adults should be hanging around except for faculty. They wouldn’t even let them in the front door, because they can see them. (That’s my onboarding thing, I use video for registration)
It’s going to be like an online Hogwart’s maybe? but for things not covered by their normal school/homeschool.
