There Are Great Products Hiding Everywhere

Every day, founders and indie makers build tools that could genuinely help someone.

The problem is that many of them never reach the people who need them.

LaunchNest LN is creating another discovery layer for SaaS, AI tools, developers, and indie products.

If you’re building something valuable, give people another chance to find it.

100% agree — there are incredible products out there that never find their audience, not because they're bad but because the builders never figured out distribution. The discovery problem is real and it's often more important than the product itself. Hoping this post inspires more people to dig a little deeper before assuming a product has failed.

The hard part of a discovery layer is not the index, it is that every description inside it is written by the founder. Founders describe what they built, in vocabulary they picked up while building it, and buyers arrive with the words they were using before they knew the category existed. So products end up filed under language nobody looking for them would type, and it reads as a discovery problem when it is really a wording problem. One thing that would set this apart from the rest: ask submitters for the sentence a real customer said right before they signed up, and index that next to the pitch. It is harder to write and much closer to how somebody actually goes looking.
