There's something about handforged iron that you just can't fake.

I picked up a set of forged gate fittings from Infinity Decor last month, and the patina is already starting to develop beautifully. Each piece has its own subtle hammer marks — tells you it was made by a real smith, not a machine. The weight alone gives me confidence it'll outlast the house. If you're building something that's meant to last, skip the mass-produced stuff. Real craftsmanship still exists. https://infinitydecor.co.uk

I love that you mentioned the patina—it's like the piece is developing its own personality over time. Do you think the hammer marks affect how the iron ages differently than a smooth, machined surface?

I've been eyeing those fittings! The hammer marks are what really sell it for me—you can almost feel the smith's rhythm in the metal. How's the patina coming along so far?
