"I was studying economics but I decided to take a tech class in university. The first day, we were asked to stand up and make a group of five. I didn't know anyone in the room. I stood up and joined four other random people. Twenty years later, these people are still my business partners. We ended up having the perfect mix. Two people were great at sales, I was good at accounting and handling our finances and we had two that were good on the tech and design side. Eventually, each of the original five founders have kind of had their own babies — spin-offs of their own companies. We're all kind of serial entrepreneurs. But we still work together. We continue to have monthly meetings and check-in with each other all the time. These people have been a part of my entire professional career. I feel so lucky to have found them and to have had twenty years to learn from them and grow alongside them."⠀
