Leads are coming in.
People are interested.
But somehow… they’re not converting.
You’re left wondering: Where did they go? What went wrong?
The truth is, most businesses aren’t losing leads because they have a bad offer.
They’re losing them because of small, avoidable mistakes that add up—creating friction, confusion, or hesitation at the exact moment a prospect should be saying yes.
Here are five of the biggest culprits:
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲, 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹
Give them guides, case studies, and insights so they can confidently make a decision.
𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗿𝗲
Not everyone is ready for a sales call. Offer a free resource, webinar, or email series instead.
𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗱𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝗴
Follow up with value, not pressure. Stay top-of-mind with relevant content, not constant “Are you ready yet?” emails.
𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁
People buy from brands they trust. Testimonials, social proof, and authority-building content help warm them up.
𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲
If they’re not ready to buy, don’t force it. Offer a smaller, low-commitment action like a free trial, newsletter, or interactive quiz.
The good news?
These aren’t hard to fix.
When you simplify, clarify, and create an effortless next step, you’ll stop leaking leads and start turning interest into action.
Super interesting — I’ve seen a lot of tools for lead scraping, but the automation part sounds really promising.
How are you handling deliverability with cold outreach at scale? That’s always the tricky part 😅
Definitely keeping an eye on this one
You're absolutely right, deliverability is where most cold outreach falls apart.
One key thing you have to do is limit outreach volume and support warm-up best practices to keep your sender reputation healthy.
We used maildoso and smartlead as our infrastructure and can scale up very easily after a few weeks warm up.
Let me know if you have further questions :)
