They said "this is exactly what we need"… then never replied. What did you change?

Be honest.

Someone loved the demo.
Said it was perfect.
Then disappeared.

What do you do next?

A) One polite follow-up, then move on
B) 3–5 follow-ups over two weeks
C) Ask what blocked them (direct + soft)
D) Offer a free trial / discount / pilot
E) Assume price or timing — stop chasing

Second check — what usually killed those "yes" moments?

  1. No budget / wrong timing
  2. Needed buy-in from someone else
  3. Your follow-up felt needy
  4. Competitor won quietly
  5. Still don't know (and it bothers you)

Love this angle. Building Xstream4K right now so this hits close to home — what made you look into it in the first place?

Makes sense. Are you planning to charge for it, or keep it free for now?

Silence after a demo is a measurement signal - it tells you something broke in their decision-making. But you never find out what because you stopped measuring at "yes". What if you tracked the specific moments in their process that killed momentum?

That’s a good framing. We’ve been treating the silence as a binary outcome, but tracking where momentum drops would make follow-ups much more useful—especially whether the blocker is trust, timing, or internal buy-in.
