They say you should be embarrassed about your first MVP (Product Launch)
Well . . . I definitely fit those criteria.
With the encouragement of people in this community last week and some long nights I am finally launching my product! It's called Gnotes (Pronounced like the word Gnome). It helps you take notes on Youtube Videos. This is a small launch on IH for some feedback. If you would like to help I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hey dude this is actually pretty clever. I'd probably use this.
I've been learning a lot more about Youtube editing and video editing lately and I'm always finding stuff I want to remember and keep notes of.
The UI / UX bit I think is where you have the most opportunities to improve. It feels like if you could make the note taking bit much simpler, like a small widget where I can just write a quick note and save it for later viewing, it might make the process feel simpler.
What comes to mind for me is pocket. I use it all the time. Someone will send me a link or an article and I just add it to pocket, then read it on sunday afternoon.
I feel like if I'm watching a youtube video and they say something cool it would be good to just click the button, write a quick note, and it will appear in my 'document' later or whatever. I probably don't need the document displayed right then and there.
Having said all this I haven't tried your chrome extension now, I just went through the video. But the problem is good.
Feels like YouTube ads would be a great acquisition channel too. And you could rope Vloggers into your marketing as well.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm definitely going to improve the UI/UX overtime. Hasn't been my strongest in the past and this is one of the first projects I've released to the public. I will look into Pocket and see how that functionality works. I'll try to take whatever pointers I can from it. Thanks again!
It's a cool idea and I'd totally use it if it were a FF extension. I'm basically done with Chrome due to its spyware and haven't used it for much but browser testing since 2016.
