Hey Indie Hackers!
After months of iteration, automation, and AI prompt engineering, I’m getting ready to launch Linkeme on Product Hunt.
What is it?
Linkeme is an AI-powered tool that automatically generates, illustrates, and schedules social media posts. It was born out of my own need to keep my consulting company visible without spending hours on content. Turns out—many small businesses have the same problem.
We turned our internal tool into a real product. Now, it’s helping real estate agents, consultants, and solopreneurs save time and grow their presence—without needing to be content experts.
Now I’m planning a Product Hunt launch—but I know that just posting and hoping doesn’t work. I want to make this launch count.
👉 If you’ve launched before, I’d love to hear:
What did you do before launch that made the biggest difference?
What mistakes should I avoid?
How do you keep momentum after launch day?
Happy to share what I’ve learned about building fully automated workflows if that helps in return 🙌
Thanks in advance for your help!
Hey Julien,
Congrats on getting Linkeme ready. It sounds like a super helpful tool!
I’ve helped a few SaaS companies launch on Product Hunt during 2020-2025, and here are a few things that really helped:
Define your audience - Know exactly who you're building for, what problems the product solves, what other companies are solving the same problem, and how your product differs from the competition. Document everything and use it to prepare all necessary items for your Product Hunt launch: landing page, banners, product descriptions, etc.
Start warming up your network early – Share small wins, sneak peeks, or behind-the-scenes content on LinkedIn, Facebook, and anywhere your target audience hangs out. This builds curiosity and gives you a head start before launch day. The more engaged your audience is going in, the more support you’ll have on Product Hunt. Don’t be afraid to amplify your reach with Google or Meta Ads—it can make a real difference. Happy to help if you want to explore that side!
Ask for genuine feedback – Instead of just asking people to upvote, invite them to check it out and share thoughts. People respond better when they feel like their opinion matters, and it often leads to more product engagement and support. You will learn a lot and you will build a better product, which you can then sell to those users.
Incentivizes purchase action - A limited-time offer or discount for Product Hunt users can nudge people to try the product right away. It creates urgency and shows appreciation for early adopters. Just make sure the offer is clear, easy to redeem, and visible in your Product Hunt post, landing page, and outreach messages. It's also a great way to start a relationship with new users who may become long-term customers.
After the launch, keep the momentum by sharing what you're learning from users—it keeps people interested and brings in new ones.
Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks a ton Ihar — this is super valuable. You’ve clearly been through it, and your advice hits exactly the right points. 🙏
We’ve been slowly warming up the audience on LinkedIn (just got our first top post on Indie Hackers recently!) but I’m definitely going to double down on sharing progress and micro-wins. I hadn’t considered running Meta or Google Ads before the launch — that’s a great tip, especially to seed retargeting.
We’re also working on a small PH-only offer — your point about making it easy to redeem and visible across the funnel is noted!
I’ll 100% take you up on your offer to explore the amplification side — I might DM you once I have the landing and teaser page polished.
Massive thanks again for the time you took. Let’s stay in touch!
I'm pleased to hear it was useful, Julien. Nice job with the LinkedIn post! I'm here to assist in any way I can—let’s keep in contact!
I don't have experience launching in Product Hunt.. but it seems Linkeme is doing awesome, right? So what is stopping you from doing so? Do you feel you need more adoption?
Thanks! Linkeme is working well locally — most of our clients are in Luxembourg and came through manual outreach. But that’s precisely my current challenge: online traction is weak.
I see Product Hunt as a good way to finally step into broader visibility and generate organic leads. But I want to do it right — so I’m currently figuring out what I should prepare (assets, timing, messaging…) to really make the most of the launch.
If you have advice or resources, I’m all ears.
I am currently a few steps behind you in regards to product stage, and still haven't figured out that myself!
Definitely interested to see what you decide to do and how it works out! Best of luck!
Thanks a lot! Honestly, we’re all figuring it out step by step — just at different altitudes on the same mountain. 😄
What helped me the most so far is being radically transparent about what’s working and what’s not. That’s why I’ll be sharing the entire journey around the Product Hunt launch and what works (or flops) in my growth tests.
If it can save you a few mistakes or spark an idea, then it’s worth it. Let’s stay in touch and keep each other posted on progress! 🚀💡
I noticed you haven't launched, but on your website there is a Trusted by Leading Companies section with seemingly dozens of company logos, how did you get people to sign up before launch?
Hi, thanks for your comment. The product is available already but not launch on Product hunt with creation of an special event for this launch.
