The app came about because I needed a tool to help me with creating content for the other businesses I run and to also assist me in creating website copy, marketing material for my clients through my digital agency.

The app took 3 months to develop. Since I am mostly a backend developer I wrote the app in Python with a MongoDB database and I enlisted the help of a frontend developer who I have worked with in the past through my digital agency to develop a clean UI.

Frontend development is not my specialty so it was important for me to work with someone who was capable of developing a nice UI. I spent weeks deciding what JS framework to use because I also wanted to explore and finally learn a frontend framework.

After lots of debate about either using React Next.js or Vue Nuxt.js. I went ahead and chose Nuxt based on the recommendations of my front-end developer and his experience in that framework.

Since we started the project It's been a learning experience for me with working with a new framework and collaborating on developing a product. Today we are officially launching the MVP, This is my first SAAS product and I have a ton of features in mind to implement. As I am learning to run and scale an app I will be sharing my entire journey on Indie Hackers and other platforms.
