This feature helped us convert free customers! AMA

The journey to attain paying customer is a very rocky one! In this day-n-age nothing out there is unique any longer. If you searched for any service you would be able to find a dime and a dozen services trying to cater to the same problem. So, what can we do now? Stop creating startups? ==> WRONG!

We focus on providing a better value to the customers than the competition. It is the customers' world out there now, LOL.

And that is exactly what we did here at Cogency.io! We focused on what many customers had asked for, we launched custom domains!

Phew, it had been a hard road to getting that implemented...to say the least! There are a lot of opinions out there on the subject, but only a very few legit technical solutions, and those are pretty vague at best. Another obstacle in the way was the necessity to ditch our existing nginx implementation in favor of a more advanced setup to accommodate dynamic SSL certificate generation.

So, long story short, after a few weeks of sweat & blood we were finally able to offer custom domains to our customers. The response has been unexpectedly amazing We converted more customers from our Free Plan to the paid Pro Plan just because of this single feature!
