As an Interaction Designer at a large company, I’m constantly switching between projects, tasks, and deadlines, and some days it felt like I was spending all my energy managing and planning instead of doing what I love most: designing and creating.
I tried every task management app I could find for months, like Jira, Trello, Asana and so on... but they’re either too complex, cluttered, or distracting with a ton of features that I'm not sure if anybody uses—and none let me focus on what really matters.
Being a designer, I also really care about how things work and look and I always strive for that hard sweet spot between form and function. The tools above lean all heavily towards one end: function.
That’s why I built Sprout 🌱.
Sprout is a Mac-native Kanban board built to help me and you get our work done—designed to work for people, not the other way around:
- No accounts.
- 100% private.
- Distraction free.
- Pleasant to work with.
The beta has just been launched, free. I’d love to hear your feedback.
