This List Of Design Tools Will Bring Your App And Website To The Next Level!

Making beautiful UI/UX designs can be quite hard especially if you aren't experienced with it. Since I have started building an app and a website from scratch I had to find the content that matters the most and tools for my designs to stand out.

I know I am not the only starter that struggled with than. Therefore I would like to give you guys a head start by sharing the most important and valuable tools/links which have helped me building a website or an app that stands out of the mass. If you have other great tools/links which I haven't mentioned yet, feel free to let me know in the comments so that everyone benefits from this thread. Besides that, please vote this post and follow me for more if this is helpful to you. :-)

Best Design Softwares

1. Adobe XD (XD is free forever by the way... it has lots of export features and a fluent prototyping experience)
2. Invision.com (the best design software to create custom animations but it's very buggy when screen mirroring and therefore bad to test it on users)
3. Figma.com (An incredibly powerful prototyping software which can be used for so much more than that. I actually prefer this over XD and Invision)
4. Framer.com (Designing while the software generates the code for you)
5. Sketch.com (only for Apple Computers which sucks!)

Best Web Builders

1. Webflow.com (extremely powerful no-code software that enables you to build your website without code with great animations it also offers webhosting. It can be perfectly used for websites that require little backend development)
2. WIX.com (no-code software which builds more upon templates rather than individual canvas)
3. Squarespace.com (not having any experience with that one but its like webflow)
4. Jimdoo.com (tried it out but its really bad)
5. Wordpress.com (The most used website builder but in my eyes outcompeted by webflow.)

Best Design Inspiration Platforms

1. Dribbble.com (so many great designs on this platform, it's super inspiring)
2. Behance.com (inspirational as well but it has lots of designs in it that dont relate to UI/UX stuff)
3. Awwwards.com (showcases the latest masterpieces when it comes to web design. Definitely check that out to see what's possible nowadays)
4. Printerest.com (just like behance but with even more irrelevant designs that have nothing to do with UX/UI)
5. Google.com (if you are looking for something very specific you are well off with your favourite search engine)
incredible webdevelopers that showcase their beautiful designs to the public)

Best Illustration Designs

1. Flaticon.com (icon-website with a huuge choice of icons for your project)
2. Material.io (open-source design platform)
3. Drawkit.io (one of my favourite illustrations packets -it's free)
4. vuesax.com (juicy designs but they're more on the code-side)
5. Undraw.co (free illustrations for your app/website)
6. Freepik.com (graphic resources that can be cloned - some require payment)
7. Humaaans.com (free human illustrations for your app/website)
8. Control.rocks (free illustrations for your app/website)
9. Absurd.design (free illustrations for your app/website)
10. Iconscout.com (free illustrations for your app/website- some require payment)
11. Illustrations.co (free illustrations for your app/website)
12. Getillustrations.com (illustrations for your app/website - most require payment)
13. Icons8.com (free icon-website)

Best Design Youtube-Channels

1. thefutur.com (talking about the business side of designs while giving extremely valuable advice)
2. pablostanley.com (makes inspirational designs)
3. DesignCourse (teaches you how to work through your UI/UX design)

Best Presentation Software

1. Pitch.com (it's not published yet but it already looks super interesting)
2. Google Presentation (pretty popular due to its simplicity and online features)
3. Microsoft PowerPoint (no explanation needed I guess...)
4. Prezi.com (different approach to presentations which might fresh up your slides)
5. Rotato.app (Not really a presentation software but you can animate your design with a 3D technology models which is super dope)
