Thoughts after 7 days in of building my first product

Hi fellow indie hackers! Good to be onboard!

I've been trying to build a product for the last few month but always failed to reach even the deployment process and archived or deleted the project entirely

This time it's different. I made a decision to build, ship and market my first product before my 30th birthday in a month (Already 30 :O).

So to not overcomplicated (im a developer by profession so this what usually happens), I choose a simple product that might bring value to people in the same position I was 5 years ago - junior developers that try to land a job in development.

This product generates a simple yet professional portfolio page in by scraping Linkedin data, enables the user to edit the data or add new items to it like projects, experience, contact info and all other goodies that linkedin is offering +CV download and share the link with potentials employers. I'm in the programming game for 5 years and always was to lazy to make a portfolio for me so maybe there more like me out there that want a spot on the web without the hussle of developing and designing from scratch or almost scratch

Because of the struggle to stay consistent and loosing track very often, I started journaling every day and every few hours my thoughts and progress which actually had a ton of impact on consentration and motivation. (I highly recommend this technic for anyone with the same strugle; event thought about build a small blog app in this concept)

Yestrday ive deployed a broken poc and started thinking if this product is something i should go on with.
Its hard to monetize and im not sure if people will choose it over a website builder. Then again, just for the sake of the challenge of building something as mentioned in the beggings, I want to follow thru.

I wonder what would you suggest? Thinking about a product that will actually monetize (maybe shopify app) or finishing this one just for the sake of finishing.
