Thoughts/Comments on Using Email/Marketing Solutions

Looking into 3rd party Email/Marketing solutions. Has anyone gotten into using these to send their emails to customers for customer acquisition funnel actions?
I could have my users use their own gmail/yahoo email addresses to send to their potential contacts, or I could potentially implement an email marketing solution. I'm wondering about the end user looking at the from email address in terms of spam.

The only one I have really worked with is Mautic, and it is not user friendly. If you can afford it, I would go for a more well-known paid solution. Depending on your product/service and industry, it can be worth the money.
I don’t know if that helps but I used to work for an online advertising company that acquired a mailing solution for marketing.
I thought at the time it was not a very good idea based on my own experience receiving this kind of emails.
I was not on the project so I don’t know the details but after one year and negative feedback from customers, they gave up with that idea.
For what I heard, emails were thought as spam so we had to use our clients DNS to use their email addresses but then our client’s customers did not like it and their trust in our clients were lowered and that did not sit well with our clients.
