Thoughts on Fiverr/Upwork
Hi.
Building a reasonable amount of data for college classData/Book Pricing Data. I'm looking to create a test site (similar to follet/bncollege sites) to show users some of the flow/functionality.
Thinking of using fiverr/upwork/freelancer to do the job, but wanted to se if anyone here had thoughts on these sites.
Or, if anyone here has the skills to put together this kind of site. Might even be able to find an existing commerce site that can be modified.

What functionality do you need that you couldn't get by using Shopify, Webflow, etc.?
As for your exact question, I'm personally very skeptical of those freelancer platforms. There do exist legit developers, but I'd say it's tough to know who's good ahead of time. Unless you're willing to pay a high rate, I wouldn't expect to be able to use what's built for anything past the MVP stage.
