Thoughts on gambling app? Idea.
Are there too many barriers for someone to make a gambling app in the US? Illegal? I was thinking of an app where people could bet on anything. Like, who will win the next presidency, if it will rain tomorrow, sports, what will happen in a TV show, etc. Two people deposit money into the app, place a bet, winner gets everything. Ethereum smart contract was supposed to be able to do this but seems like no one has made anything. Just wondering thoughts on this space. Seems like most states consider gambling illegal, wonder if there are ways around it, like not use money.

I think there's a reply below where someone already made this but in other countries. I think the problem for US is that there's too many legal issues to workout.
