Thoughts on gambling app? Idea.

Are there too many barriers for someone to make a gambling app in the US? Illegal? I was thinking of an app where people could bet on anything. Like, who will win the next presidency, if it will rain tomorrow, sports, what will happen in a TV show, etc. Two people deposit money into the app, place a bet, winner gets everything. Ethereum smart contract was supposed to be able to do this but seems like no one has made anything. Just wondering thoughts on this space. Seems like most states consider gambling illegal, wonder if there are ways around it, like not use money.

Do you think this makes sense? Now there are many online casino services, as well as various apps. All in all, I don't think players need another app. In addition, the competition is so intense that online casinos are forced to offer various bonus upon registration, so it is difficult to create something new and achieve success.

How did you find this post? I posted this like a year ago, lol. I gave up on this venture.

I am sure that and gambling application in which people play real money is considered legal only if it is registered as legal. And if bets are made on the same principle as casinos, where people are most often deceived, this is clearly an illegal idea. To be honest, I would also bet money on something stupid. Well, small amounts, of course. For example, who appeared before the egg or chicken - $1. But I'd rather continue to play poker, making beats on a site like ekstrapoint.com because there I hope not only for luck but for knowledge of the psychology of other players and my poker skills. Moreover, the games in which you donate to your own account are legal, as are bets on sports clubs on official websites.

It seems another app for people is not very relevant in the current competitive environment. I play and choose from the proposed casinos at https://www.slotozilla.com/free-spins . Huge selection of playgrounds, and also bonuses and freespins. Why then do we need another service when there are already so many? Check out the ones you already have!

@Wishy did you ever do anything with this concept? I'd be interested in picking your brain if so or if it's still of interest, would love to chat on it.

I think there's a reply below where someone already made this but in other countries. I think the problem for US is that there's too many legal issues to workout.

There are so many out there, that you really need to make something that stands out. Otherwise, you won't be able to reach the top

Most people are attracted to gambling apps because it's real money in the game. Not many people know about cryptocurrency, which is sad. Your idea is brilliant, I totally support it, but there are already a few apps like that out there. The competition is big, but not impossible to overcome. You could use cryptocurrency, I think it'll be a good idea, even though not so many people know about its advantages. But slowly, I see the interest in crypto rises. Before you're going to do a gambling app, study the ones on the market.. here you have an example https://hfive555.com/en/how-online-blackjack-works
