Thoughts on my landing page for Letterbase?

Hey indie hackers!

I just finished updating my landing page for Letterbase. Been working on the update for about a week now.

I already have a couple of things in mind that I'd like to add in the future, but I'd love to hear your thoughts on it right now.

I'm still refining how I create landing pages so any feedback would be invaluable!

    The landing page looks professional!
But more important question is, that this is a competitive market, lots of competition. How/why should customers choose your product over other more established solutions and how will you get to your potential customers?

Thanks! I'm aware that this is a super competitive market, but I view that as an opportunity rather than a discouragement :)

Personally, I've used a bunch of other tools before and I haven't found any of them to be perfect. They were often:

      • Expensive
      • Poorly designed / hard to use / ugly
      • Privacy-invasive, heavy on your website

In contrast, Letterbase is bootstrapper-friendly, beautifully and intentionally designed, and privacy-friendly + lightweight.

In terms of getting potential customers, I'm planning on using Twitter / SEO / content marketing. I think indie hackers would find value in it too :)

    Hello @richardchu,

Congrats on your recent updates for Letterbase's landing page!

My only suggestion is to update the text above the fold. Busy startup founders don't have a lot of time, so I believe your above the fold content should clearly explain what your product is all about in around 3 seconds. I didn't really get what your product is until I browse down halfway and read that it's a messenger for websites.

Here are my suggestions for the main tagline and sub tagline:

Customer Service Platform Made Simple, Affordable & Delightful

Letterbase is a fast, lightweight messenger that you can install on your website in minutes—so you can quickly connect with your customers.

Please let me know what you think.

Hope to see your product installed on a lot of startup websites soon. :)

Thanks for the detailed feedback! Super helpful, and I'll likely update it to a variation of what you wrote pretty soon :)
