Thoughts on my landing/validation page for Commit Buddy?
I'm building: https://getcommitbuddy.com/
Currently the site exists to collect email addresses to determine if people actually want this product. My questions:
- General feedback on the UI? Is it clear what the product does?
- Do you think replacing the email submission with a link to a Typeform/Google Form will make the site look amateur-ish/reduce the number of emails I get (since it's now an extra few clicks)?
- General thoughts on the idea? I feel like there's a lot of possible variations on this idea, and I don't want to scare off users who like the general concept but want something slightly different. Not sure how to handle this problem. Making the description vague-er seems like a bad idea.
Well, how do you wish to promote this page?
In my opinion, it is time consuming. Generally, people hate to fill forms.
I would reduce the amount of input and focus on the vitals... I don't think age is necessary if you target the right group.
How are you are you getting people to visit this page though?
I'm trying to post on various Reddit communities, such as r/productivity and seeing if people have interest.
I don't think it's working though.
Maybe try some facebook groups relating to software, entrepreneurs and so on.
I like the idea! And as soon as someone puts money down things get more serious. Maybe also mention that the next session will have to be scheduled as well to keep the momentum up.
Somehow, I couldn't see the motivation of use. Is it just self committing to commit code regularly and holding accountable?
The goal can be whatever you want. It's self committing, but you are held accountable by another person.
Oh... I see the confusion "commit buddy" doesn't imply you have to be committing code specifically.
I got it now. This is great. Go fast on this. I came across FocusMate recently seems like a good space to venture in since remote work is the future.
