Thoughts on referral programs

I've been thinking a lot about referral programs as a engine of "automatic growth" for one of my projects, beew.io.

What are your experiences with referral programs?
Does it works for B2B business?
I have very little users, so where can I market my referral program?

Hi! I had this need a few months ago and looked for a lot of information.
Crossfy (crossfyapp.com) is a B2B solution for gyms. Finally I implemented this referral solution:

    • A gym that is referred has a $ 25 discount on its first subscription.
    • The referring gym gets a $ 25 discount once the referral hired the service and paid for the first month.

I created a landing page for them to share with their acquaintances. In the world of gyms they usually have a relationship with each other. Some even shared the proposal on their social networks.

As of today, after 3 months of the referral program running, we have 16 new referral clients.

    It's not bad at all.

I'm still looking for ways to optimize the circuit.

    All the best!
    Matias

They work really really well but only if you have an engaged user base. Lots of different strategies to apply to a B2B business depending on your product. Based on your site it looks like youre targeting developers, who are usually a good fit for a referral program provided they are motivated to do so by something other than simply money :)

Moosend.com has an incredible affiliate program, so I would suggest having a look at this blog post: https://moosend.com/blog/affiliate-marketing/
