Thanks for sharing this. Good food for thought.
When you say "meaningful guard rails that help you ship more, high-quality work" what do you have in mind? Your thread has a lot of valid criticism but doesn't propose many solutions.
I like your thread. Seems you've given a lot of thought to project management tools. While I agree with some of your points, I think some can be attributed to simply poor team processes as well.
I personally really like using ClickUp with my team. We arrived at it after having used Trello, Asana, and a few others. With ClickUp, things just (excuse the pun) clicked. Over the last 6 months, it has helped us put in good processes in practice, and it has also helped us scale up our team size.
