Three decades of startup lessons… for free.
Hello, everyone!
I’ve loved following everyone’s stories here and thought I’d post one of my own. I’ve taught over 10,000 designers, enabling them to build businesses, large and small.
After 30+ years working as a designer and 20+ years teaching experience design at Belfast School of Art, I’m busy building The School of Design. I passionately believe that now is the time to offer an alternative to expensive university education (which is often totally outdated and rarely business-focused).
The School of Design is a design × business school focused on helping the founders of today build the startups of tomorrow. Our founders are achieving incredible results and I’m so, so proud of them.
Our library – which covers everything you need to know to build a startup – is totally free, gathering three decades of advice.
I’m 50 this year and I wanted to share everything I’ve learned to help others, passing the torch to the next generation.
I’ve been a cofounder of multiple startups, one recently passing $5M in revenue, so I’ve learned what works and what doesn’t, and I’m sharing this with as many people as possible.
