Bootstrapped, 11 months of development, no money coming; you need a strong nerve for it. Being an entrepreneur for very long time, I believe I developed such nerve :)
We wanted to perfect the system every way possible. I know, this is not the ideal way to launch but we wanted to make an impact from the beginning.
Finally, we decided to do a soft launch and open for only 5 days! Here is the stats:
π°$20K+ Sales
π’ $0 spend on marketing
π1.5K visitors on website
Many of our customers preferred two/three split payment options for our $750 plan + few country peoples preferred offline payment. That's the reason you see $17K+ on the screenshot.
By following the ancient marketing policy "Build your audience before releasing your product" π
Here is our pre-sales funnel looks like π
π’ We announced the date for soft launch and made sure the launch is exclusive for our group and email subs:
π We sent only 3 emails during the launch to our list. Announcement email, middle of the week and just before closing the sales.
As I said earlier, we spent 11 months perfecting the system; people immediately see the value of the product and the top notch UI/UX. Even tough this is our first SaaS but they didn't hesitate to buy the product from us.
π₯ Key takeaways:
Our website is still WIP but you can join our FB group here https://www.facebook.com/groups/thrivedesk
We'll do full launch by end of May π
Congrats & It is great to see fellow countryman's Success, Cheers!
Congrats on your presale!
May I ask you how technically you organized the lifetime deals? I mean which payment provided do you use and how hard was to set it up? Thanks!
The menu items on the home page are not working. They all go to https://www.thrivedesk.com/#. I have to manually type in https://www.thrivedesk.com/pricing to see the pricing page.
