You're on a roll man, that's awesome. Which app are these people subscribing for - Magnus Rush? How are people finding the app?

      1. 3

Yes, for the consumer podcast app. No paying customers yet on the SaaS, it's currently free. They're finding organically I am guessing!

        1. 2

At least this is a great validation of your idea, people clearly need it.You might want to find out how they're finding you and double down on that source.

    2. 1

Ooh. Just noticed you hit your May goal re email automation! Nice!

    Epic:

Launch Naminator, Bianna, and Dating site by end of 2019. Have one of them gain traction.

    • Spent time learning about SQS and did preliminary work for re-architecting the backend of Naminator to handle queueing / improve speed / be able to show progress percentage.

    Tomorrow:

    • Finish the re-architecting and be able to show progress percentage while names are being generated.

Ooh! What's your dating app about?

      1. 2

Just an idea I’ve had laying around, but basically, if you like someone, you could play a game with them, by guessing their answers to questions , and they guess your answer to the same question. The more guesses you both get right about each other, the higher your compatibility and the lower the cost to finally send a message to them (no free messages)

It’s the last idea on my list because I’m not sure for a strategy on acquiring users. I’ve found that reddit, Facebook, Instagram, all don’t allow Dating apps to advertise unless you have a big budget.

    EPIC
    By end of 2019:
Generate 1k MRR from something. Current projects on the cards:

    Projects on the cards:

    • interior mood boards - collab project with my wife who is a SME. I'm doing the tech and she's doing all the marketing/positioning work
    • Limen - another instagram scheduling app, but with a focus on ensuring the page looks beautiful and with a more fair pricing structure.
    • albertrm - on the back burner; need to stop until I do some marketing and figure out if I've got a product fit. I stopped using it personally which indicates that I don't if I can't get the value myself. Think it needs to be an actual app rather than web app??

    By end of May:
    Launch interior mood boards.

    LAST NIGHT

    • [interior-mood-boards] finished designs in figma for the buy page
    • [interior-mood-boards] got sign off from the wife for said designs

    TONIGHT

    • [interior-mood-boards] implement the designs as they currently stand

Been a while since I started actively engaging in IH. Life got in the way, but a recent holiday has re-invigorated my desire for financial freedom and for cutting my own path. I am going to pursue that more relentlessly this year.

    1. 1

Yes! Yes! Yes! (Smiling) Holidays have a way of putting life into perspective, no?

Welcome to the stand up party!

Get clarity on the market and the customer!

side note Finally got the balls (or ovaries) at the 11th hour and did my task yesterday. Surprising enough it gave me hope. I saw certain trends and issues repeating in one form or the other. This list is worth marinating overnight before I cook up a storm.

    1. 2

(Laughing!) I always like to say I found the tits...

      Anything discovered worth sharing?
