That extra nudge of accountability to achieve even a small step on your IH journey each day.

To join in:

01 Share your epic (a big chunk of work with a meaty objective) you'd like to complete by the end of April.

02 Share what you accomplished yesterday.

03 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.

04 Comment on at least one fellow hacker's progress and give them an IH Point for their check in.

Optional:

05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.

Then tune in the tomorrow to share how you did on your own tasks!

    • End of April.. Apply for grant applications for Polar.
    • Released a crowdfunding campaign and received $1k so far!
    • BIG release today. Binaries going out now.

The big win for the week was that I started emailing users that weren't coming back and using Polar to find out why they are dropping off. The response has really been worth it.

In the past I was just reaching out to users who were successfully using the product so this created a massive blind spot.

Ugh! So tantalizing! What's the epiphany!

And what was the feedback? Give us the good, bad and the ugly!

      1. 1

I emailed you about it! The app and SaaS feedback so far has been.. ZERO. Which is not very great, but that's OK, playing a long game here.

    EPIC

    By end of 2019:

    5K MR ($702.64 of $5,000 - $3.64 from Jeanius | $699 from epiphany)

    By end of April:

    • Validate concept.
First day of the experiment completed and it looks promising. Average Google Ad CTR for my industry is 2.69%. Jeanius is 19.32%. Average conversion rate for my industry is 2.81%. Jeanius is 36.81%.

(Finished. I know I promised an update, but I had an extremely late night launching the epiphany. I'll get in here this weekend with the stats.)

    LAST NIGHT

    • ✓ Checked VA's first task for Jeanius. Looking good.
    • ✓ Published landing page for epiphany.

    TONIGHT

    • Pending feedback from two potential users, I'll launch via mailing list and FB. (Plus take a nap.)

KUDOS: @sunshowerlisa Kudos for having the courage to soul search! Can't wait to read what you unveil!

    WIP: Jeanius

OK, just so I'm clear, this is some thing new on top of Jeanius? You're a machine! What did you do your landing page in?
And, the pending feedback, is it for your epiphany? So exciting :)

      1. 2

Yeah. I hated @csallen's response to the Sunday retro. (Laughing!) It may be the first time someone has said that I lacked ambition. But it did get me thinking --- am I working too hard for too little?

Feedback thus far is positive, but we'll see if I get enough takers for the pilot round to make the venture worthwhile. If not, it's likely not worth IH screen space to discuss.

        1. 2

          Sorry 😇

I don't think you lack ambition. I just think you could get more bang for your buck! Or I guess in this situation, I think you could get more buck for your work.

          1. 1

(Exquisite use of halo. This one might have been a better choice! 👹)

    5. Research industry trends - (opportunities for SWOT analysis).

    KUDOS
@vcmartins nice job getting the copy done. Good luck on shipping the landing page to customers.

    WIP Mindful

    *side note
I've talked to a few different customers/roles. Need to rethink who I'm asking to qualify for customer interviews. So I'm doing the hard tedious tasks 1st - the transcripts. I've been pushing them off to the last task but eventually don't do them. Need to relisten for misplaced comments then add & organize this information for my roadmap. You know the non-sexy work that determines what I'll make will be useful or useless.
