@sircharleswatson Welcome to the stand up party! Love the updates throughout the day and will follow suit (although my updates will be limited to evenings)! Great idea!

I'm curious, how are you marketing Mane Mogul right now? Something tells me a couple hundred bucks targeted at the right local markets might be enough to sell out your first cohort pretty quick.

Or maybe you've already sold all the slots, how's that going?

pulno.com - my SEO audit tool. Helps inexperienced users to optimize their SEO performance.

    1. By the end of June we plan to develop an automatic algorithm to advise on actions based on links data and keywords of the user's website. (now the algorithm only advise based on on page data)
    2. Yesterday I've finished my software to import and monitor all backlinks in the whole internet. I have gathered 50GB of link data and probably there will be ten times more when I finish it.
    3. Today I'll try to build api interface to these links data and import them directly to Pulno

    Epic

    • Building the payment/subscription system for my product
    • Looking for a job because my product isn't making any money yet

    Yesterday

    • Finished the payment form
    • Started working on choosing a subscription plan
    • Got a couple of Early Adopter volunteers to start their subscription before I have premium features built so we can test some things

    Today

    • Finish Subscription selection
    • Get volunteers set up on their Early Adopter subscription

It's a great looking site! How long has the mobile app been out, and is it getting any traction?

      1. 2

I just hit 6500 users yesterday. The mobile app has been out for about a year and a half. :) I've been getting a lot of emails lately from people asking me how they can support the app financially haha. I just lost my job a week and a half ago so I immediately set up a BuyMeACoffee page to try to getsomething and I'm 100% focused on getting subscriptions out finally. I've been procrastinating on that for way too long getting stuck in the "I just need one more feature first" mindset haha. So this will be a huge milestone for me once I get the subscription stuff done

Help Me Propose here! My "product" is a creative marriage proposal for my girlfriend. (If you like it, please share!)

    1. By the end of June, I'd like to be featured in two major news outlets.
    2. Yesterday, I cold-emailed several news websites, and one reporter I've worked with a long time ago. I also had a back-and-forth with the mods of the /r/Charity subreddit to see if they'll let me post there. I also sought feedback from @djbaskin (thanks!).
    3. Today, I'll be tweaking the website based on the feedback I've received. I also plan to reach out to friends to see if anyone I know can intro me to anyone at a media website. (If you know anyone, please let me know!)
    1. 1

      That's a cool idea :)

      1. 1

Thanks! I'm just struggling to get the word out, because without traction it goes from a fun romantic gesture to just a very sad website. Any advice is more than welcome.

        1. 2

This is a tough one, I'm not the best at marketing :) But I do have a few notes!

          1. Where are your target customers? Find them there and:
          2. Write a Medium/blog post on how NOT to propose. Make it funny as heck. Link back to your site with ".. and if you want to see some great ideas on proposals, click here!"
          3. Maybe bring some of those things into your site as options (how NOT to propose)

Share that to popular dude FB pages and funny female FB pages
