03 Share what you accomplished yesterday.

04 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.

05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.

Then tune in the tomorrow to share how you did on your own tasks!

I have this problem so I signed up to your list. I also have no money so I'm probably not your ideal customer, ha.

I liked your marketing page; well done.

      1. 1

        Thanks and thanks!

If you're struggling with something salesy and really can't afford it, shoot me an email and let me know what you're struggling with. Maybe I can point you in the right direction outside of the course.

        1. 2

I should note that I couldn't find any details on pricing on your pages. I'm assuming that I can't afford it, though.

          1. 1

You'll get an email with the earlybird discounted price tomorrow. Just shoot me an email in reply :)

      Hey Louis

FiveMinuteFounder subscriber here, what service are you using to collect emails?

      1. 2

Thanks. On FMF I'm collecting the emails via my own form and sending to MailChimp and ConvertKit.

For S4F it's a mix of ConvertKit and RightMessage

    • Epic - Publish Novella | Started reading through it again. Will definitly need a little rework.

    • Got the refresh working and a logo done for Random Hiit. Logo is terrible, but gives me something to build upon and I really only spent a few minutes. Also used the app for another workout. Great because it's exactly what I wanted personally. If I didn't do anything else with the app, I'd be content.

    • Read more of my novella. Create a feature list for the app and some sort of game plan/roadmap

@bjames congrats on your new baby!

    1. 2

Thanks Helen! I ended up taking a bit of a break from side projects to learn how to play Dad, it's been a blast!

    2. 2

      How goes the August epic?

      1. 2

@Janice It's coming along. This week Murphy's Law invited itself onto my deals. Dealing w/ it and problem solving to get my 1st pilot customer. Realized I need to compromise and focus on closing initial customers while I nurture niche customers. Thanks for asking (and keeping a sista accountable)!

        How about you?

        1. 1

I really have no idea as of right now! Scrambling to implement Plan B while on vacation. And I won't know the ROI on the FB ads for another week. But finishing the epic is still within the realm of possibility!

  4. 2

    1. 2

Look forward to the launch! Is this specific to France?

      1. 2

Yes, I prefer to launch it in my native language only for now, and target some cities around me for the beginning. I feel more confident and more comfortable doing so in order to find the right MVP / PMF.

      2. 1

2:47am here in western Europe, and I finally release localchef.pro with a staging environment also for my development.
The quality of the result is not yet enough to contact the professional, but I'm quite happy of the technical work done tonight!
I already found a dozen of bugs that I will now be able to fix quickly. I have free time this weekend for it :)
I keep in touch the @indiehackers community of course :)

    AUGUST;
Release https://trackmylift.app by end August. (On track)

    YESTERDAY;
Yesterday I actually got nothing done. I had no time o hustle apart from like 1hour which I used cleaning up bugs.

    TODAY:

    • view workout modal done and dusted with deletion.
    • "buy us a coffee" modal popup done
    • some tidy ups and UI edits

Next on the plan is making the view popup editable from the main "my workouts" page. From the dashboard I'm gonna keep it clean with no edit functionality so it's very focused and directed at literally reading your upcoming workouts.

After that I'm working on the user profile as well as social sharing.

    KUDOS
    @ItsSteve for the upvotes

  6. 2

EPIC: By end of August, have validation conversations with 5 potential customers
YESTERDAY: Sent 400+ cold emails; scheduled one call
TODAY: Sent another 400+ cold emails. No responses other than "No thanks" so far.

I plan on continuing to send cold emails every work day until I can get some solid validation data. Open rate is 40%+ which is artificially inflated; click rate (example videos) is 2+%.

    1. 1

Damn! 400+?! Impressive! Where are you getting your leads?

      1. 1

Anywhere I can, ha. Lots of public membership sites. My leads are businesses that want their contact info out there for customers to find.

I like the specialized "job board" niche. Have you gone to nearby schools to talk with students about to graduate or professors that might have thoughts?
