TikTok says the Trump administration has forgotten about trying to ban it, would like to know what’s up

So either TikTok was never a national security threat, or Trump no longer cares about national security threats. Well, when you fire your secretary of defence in a fit of rage over losing the election and his previous refusal to send troops into US cities, you’re bound to let a few things slip through the cracks.

I think he forgot about covid also🏌️

The current administration seems distracted at the moment, to say the least. Although it's likely this will be resolved in the next few months, I can't help but wonder what will happen if it isn't. It's not necessarily a given that the Biden administration will have the same policy toward China that the Trump administration has. And the TikTok stuff has been particularly bizarre.
