Time anxiety: is it too late?
I have always struggled with a thought: it’s too late. Too late to publish a book, to start a company, to learn a new language. This is called time anxiety.

Is it too late to publish a book, to start a company, to learn a new language? Or is that just your time-anxiety talking...?
Strategies by @anthilemoon for overcoming the recurring thought that never leaves some people, "It's too late."
One of the things that's most helped me overcome my own time anxiety has been becoming a dad later in life. I became a dad 15 years after I imagined I'd become one, which freaked me out. I felt like...is it too late? Will I feel too old? And now, I'm so happy that it happened when it did and that I overcame my fear of being an "older" parent. It feels like the perfect timing and I feel like the best version of myself for this role.
Nice share! I interviewed @anthilemoon a year or so ago and she talked about how she wanted to start a Youtube channel in her twenties but she felt she was too late. At 31 she decided to start one anyway, and a year later has thousands of subscribers. She's a pretty inspiring woman! 🔥
I appreciate that the author gave this a name. Feels helpful just to know that Time Anxiety is "a thing." I'm in my thirties and feeling the pressure to get really "serious" about finding something stable and secure. And I keep being haunted by this feeling that it's too late to make it as an indie hacker. Glad to know I'm not alone in my fears. 😅
