Time-to-power vs approval odds — which one is the actual product?

Two metrics, and I'm now convinced only one is the wedge. "Approval probability" is contestable, the first time it's wrong, a skeptical analyst writes off the whole tool. "Time to power," though, plugs straight into a pro forma and moves IRR, and interconnection timing has no clean national source, so it's the part buyers genuinely can't already get. So I'm leading with months-to-energization and demoting approval odds to supporting evidence. Anyone else had to pick between two features where the less flashy one was the defensible one, did leading with the defensible metric actually land better?
