Tips for building community?
I've been working on joinhelm.com for a little bit, and it's seen pretty good engagement and user growth. The project sharing tool is still developing but it's at least minimally viable, and it's cool to see what users are doing with it. But it's still missing a real community around it - users will share a project and maybe comment on someone else's, but typically won't engage past that. Any tips on how to build user-to-user engagement? Is that even the right approach?
Is there a reason you hide the content behind a login? I'm curious what it looks like but I don't want to sign up just to look around.
Thanks for pointing this out. The login is mostly a measure to protect user projects, but public/logged-in content is definitely worth re-evaluating.

Are you doing the things you want to see your users doing? Commenting, sharing, etc?
This is what I call 'lead by example'. People will naturally end up doing the things they see others doing (if they feel they belong + it adds value).

I should definitely make that more of a regular thing. From what I've seen, you're a pro at this!
