Tips for charging credit cards- should name and address information be included?

Hi I'm using Authorize.net to process credit card transactions. This is the first time I'm doing credit card stuff and just looking for some info.. The cardholders name and address are not required fields for the Authorize.net API but should I be passing that info through anyways? I tested a transaction on my card without that info and it works. Is there a reason that I would want to include that info? Thanks
