Tips for creating a Twitter community?

Hi all 🤚
Does anybody have tips for how to create a Twitter community?

I‘m starting to level up my online presence as a developer and set myself the goal to get 100 Twitter follower in the next 6 Months.

Currently I don’t have any so I am starting from zero! ⚠️

I thought about writing some tutorials on new development tool or frameworks and publish them on dev.to or medium to gain my first followers?

Then posting daily developer stuff like new coding equipment and infos about site projects💻

Does someone has a good idea how I could start this journey?

100 followers in 6 months seems more than possible.

I’ve recently looked to build my Twitter audience as well in the last two months. I’m at 99 followers now. I’ve gotten 55 new followers in the last 28 days.

The keys to my success so far has been:
    - Content, Content, Content
    - Engage, Engage, Engage

What I’ve been doing is having a tweets folder in my iPhone notes and any time that I get a tweet worthy thought I put it into this folder.

And once I built up my tweet folder to a certain extent I started to use that list of tweets as a backlog of tweets to post.

I’ve been doing my best to post once a day at least but sometimes I’m ending up posting once every two days.

While I’m posting every day or every other day I’m also going to certain hashtags that relate to the topic I’m knowledgeable in and engaging with other peoples tweets. I’m giving value in my tweets, I’m giving encouragement, I’m asking people questions and I’m just having a genuine conversations with people.

From there people go in and click on my profile and then they also get to see my wall of content. And in turn I get followers.

Since starting to use the strategy I’ve actually seen positive growth I’ve been pretty consistent and I’ve been getting results little by little so I definitely think within a month or two months if you go hard at this you can definitely pass 100 followers.

    • follow some people of interest
    • join in on discussions
    • share your view of the world

It's not complicated, just takes time, willingness and input.

Hi Miro, I've written an article on IH on how to build your Twitter audience from scratch.

I think you might find it highly applicable for your situation.

I also wrote about how you can monetize your SaaS product on Twitter once you build a Twitter audience.

    Hope you find these useful.

    Happy Black Friday!

Give interesting and trending information with complete hard work and research.
Don't follow copy and paste strategies.
Write about current top trends and give the information which others are not giving.
Create memes according to the top trends but they should be interesting ones.

    Best of luck!
