Tips for promoting my new tech startup in London - SuperPay

My two cents:

Payments represent a huge 'trust' issue. It's a tough space for start-ups because you have no reputation and no trust established.

That means no matter how good your product is, onboarding is going to be your #1 issue I'm afraid.

Maybe a 0% tier up to $x monthly purchases, which then kicks in to 2.4% at some threshold would encourage onboarding?

I run a company in the online payments space for nearly 10 years now and from the information I found on the site, I have failed to fully understand /what/ you offer and /how/ you offer it.

Your main feature seems to be a payment link, so why don't you demonstrate this in more detail? A step-by-step guide how the merchant creates it, how the customer receives it, and how your hosted payment page looks like, would be helpful. You could use a narrated video, too.

For the merchant, going to the dashboard to create the link is an extra step. So my next question is, how does it integrate with other tools the merchant might be using, like Shopify, Woocommerce, etc.? I would certainly want to automate the whole process.

For the more tech savvy merchants it might also be interesting to learn which Stripe credentials you'll need. Do you actually need the Secret key?

Finally, as the others mentioned, trust is a big issue. Do some bell ringing around your office and try to find a merchant who's willing to try you out. When it works out well, get a testimonial from them and publish it! If it doesn't, learn from it and iterate. Also, put your "dedicated team" on the page.
