Hello Indie Hackers!
Do you build in the open? Do you consider the code availability your marketing technique? Do you have a better use for your time than building and maintaining a shiny and awesome README?
A lot of GitHub repositories have obscure, outdated, or absent README.md files. How often have you been looking at someone else's project and thinking, "what even IS this?". You really want to make a better impression than this! A well-crafted README significantly improves a new user's onboarding experience, a potential contributor's will to engage, or customer's decision to buy your services.
However, the dedication required to produce and consistently maintain high-quality READMEs is a substantial time investment. Many developers, particularly solo founders or lean teams, would prefer to allocate this time to core development tasks.
The Proposition: ReadmeGo - Your Bespoke README-as-a-Service
I am currently exploring the viability of ReadmeGo, a service conceived to alleviate the burden of creating and curating professional, comprehensive, and engaging README.md files.
