The pain point 😢
One thing I have done often in the past is build too many features (and even whole Products) that no one wants!
Often times I would even talk to our customers who said they were interested but when the time came to try it out, no one did. 🦗
An Idea Forms
Then one day I saw a Twitter friend of mine, Dagobert Renouf talking about how he sold Beta Access to a feature by charging 3 customers $100 a piece for beta access.
Suddenly I remember the advice I had always heard from SaaS Marketers (but never seen used a lot successfully) that you need to try to sell your feature BEFORE you code. A crazy idea started forming. Could I create a platform to do exactly that?
So I started posting about it on Twitter and someone liked the idea enough to donate the domain getvalidation.co 🤯
From there I threw up a landing page and started charging a small amount for Beta Access to the platform. We already have had 8 people purchase beta access so we are now working on a barebones MVP! 🤯🚀
How it works
- Enter details for your project and choose whether you want to collect emails or payments from potential customers
- Share and market your page
- Your customers who signup will enter their cc info BUT will not be charged until the project or feature is ready
- When you are done building you mark the project as “ready”.
- We work with you to validate that it is indeed ready.
- You get paid, and then have your first group of beta customers to get feedback from! 🚀
What we need from you
We have gotten enough payments for beta access that we are now building the barebones MVP and will be done by the end of the month.
But there is still time to get access to the beta!
